Welcome to my web page. I am a kindergarten teacher in Oxford, Connecticut at Quaker Farms School. I teach two half day sessions with 16 children in the a.m. session and 15 in the afternoon session. I do have a full time paraprofessional assisting me. Oxford is a suburban community that has parents who want to be involved with a home-school relationship.
My belief is I am a facilatator. I set up an environment that encourages congnitive, social and emotional growth in each of my students. My classroom is rich in print so each child can experience literacy at his/her level and develop to another level along the literacy continuum.
My children play, read, write and communicate with one another every day. My goal is to lay the foundation so my students will become lifelong learners.
